Dr\ Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President has issued several decrees to appoint deputies and departments' heads at faculties. The decrees were as following; Dr\ Araby Abd El Aziz El Tukhy was appointed as Faculty of Arts deputy for Community Service and Environment development affairs, Dr\ Mervat Mahdy Ramadan was appointed as the head of Statistics and mathematics department at Faculty of Commerce and Dr\ Samy Mohammed Ahmed was appointed as the head of Accounting department at Faculty of Commerce. The University president hopes for all of them best wishes and great success at their new positions.

Dr\ Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President has announced the presidential decree about appointing Dr\ Mustafa Rashid El Abady as the dean of Commerce Faculty. The University President congratulated Dr\ Mustafa Rashid for his new position and hoped best wishes and great success for him. El Saeed also thanked Dr\ Mohammed Saeed Basyouny for his great efforts during his period as acting dean.

Dr\ Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President has signed a cooperation protocol with Dr\ Mohamed El Qosy , the executive manager for Egyptian Space Agency. The protocol was signed in presence of Major General / Abdul Hamid Al-Hagan, El Qalubia Governor, Prof.Dr Hussein El Maghraby, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs, Dr\ Nasser El Gezawy, the general supervisor on scientific and cultural relations, deans and deputies of faculties. El Saeed assured that the signed protocol aims to trains students at faculties of Engineering and give the chance to participate at conferences and workshops .El Saeed also mentioned that the protocol is considered the second on the level of Governmental Universities and the fourth on the level of Egyptian Universities.

Prof.Dr Hussein El Maghraby, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs inspected exams halls and control works of the mid –term exams at the following faculties; Applied Arts, Veterinary medicine and computers and Artificial Intelligence. El Maghraby was accompanied by Dr\ Hala Helmy Zayed , Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence dean and Dr\ Mohamed Ghanem , faculty of Veterinary Medicine dean and he inspected rules of correction and control works and confirmed on achieving discipline and committing all regulation of exams and assured on providing all means of comfort and care to students.

It has been agreed to add some new job responsibilities for the sectors head in the exams as follows:

• Supervising the exams rooms
• Making sure that the observers are doing the jobs
• Making sure that the observers are effective and active
• Sign in the attendance register
• He has the same authority of the observers in the exams rooms

In accordance with the preparations for the visit of the accreditation and quality management team to the faculty of engineering, Prof.Dr. Aref Soliman, the faculty’s dean and prof.Dr. Ahmed EL-Assal, the head of the quality management unit meet with the teaching assistants at the faculty.

The visit of the accreditation team starts at 9 am as they inspect the important documents in addition to paying a visit to the various scientific and adminstritaitive departments. This visit comes in accordance with the accreditation procedures of the faculty.
