Dean’s Message
Dear Students of the Faculty of Arts, Benha University; Esteemed Faculty Members and Administrative Staff; and Valued Visitors,
Welcome to the website of the Faculty of Arts, Benha University—your second home and the academic institution that thrives through you and for you. The Faculty offers a wide range of academic programs, comprising fifteen programs delivered through twelve academic departments. In addition, the Faculty has introduced new credit-hour system (CHS) programs, which have been implemented since the 2024/2025 academic year. The Faculty also provides a selection of specialized programs that have been formally approved by the Arts Sector Committees of the Supreme Council of Universities. Furthermore, the Faculty offers a comprehensive range of postgraduate programs, totaling fifty-three diploma, master’s, and doctoral programs. These programs are taught by an elite group of specialized professors from the Faculty and other Egyptian Faculties of Arts. The Faculty enrolls more than 12,000 undergraduate students, in addition to 664 postgraduate students.
Our firm belief is that the student is the cornerstone of the educational process. Our fundamental goal is to prepare them to face life’s challenges by graduating distinguished cadres equipped with both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise. The Faculty is committed to nurturing well-trained professionals who achieve leadership in their academic fields while fostering self-development and skill refinement in alignment with Egypt’s Vision 2030 for Sustainable Development.
The Faculty of Arts aspires to be a beacon of cultural and intellectual enlightenment, providing high-quality education that meets global standards. We strive to create an academic environment that fosters creativity and innovation, enabling the Faculty to advance from excellence to local and international leadership. This ambition is reflected in our distinguished body of scholars and professors who have received prestigious national and international awards, including State Appreciation and Incentive Awards, as well as several Arab awards.
The Faculty also includes a large number of distinguished personnel, including teaching assistants and administrative staff, who work diligently to serve students and enhance both educational and research processes.
All members of the Faculty work as one team and one family, united by respect, cordiality, and sincere cooperation, which positively impacts our students’ academic achievements and creative output across scientific, cultural, athletic, and social activities.
