The Faculty Deputy for Community Service

The Vice-Deanship for Community Service and Environmental Development stands as a fundamental pillar within the university’s operational framework. It embodies the social and humanitarian role of educational institutions, striving to achieve seamless integration between the Faculty and society. This is accomplished through strategic programs and initiatives designed to foster local environmental development, enhance environmental literacy, and activate community engagement across various developmental sectors.
The Vice-Deanship serves to build bridges of cooperation between the Faculty, state institutions, and civil society. These efforts contribute to the realization of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), support public service projects, and ensure the practical application of scientific research findings to address societal needs and contemporary challenges.
Furthermore, the Vice-Deanship places a particular emphasis on instilling a culture of Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) among students. By cultivating a spirit of citizenship and volunteering, we prepare our students to serve as ambassadors for positive change and active contributors to nation-building.
Within this framework, the Vice-Deanship seeks to align student engagement with national development plans. By participating in initiatives that heighten awareness of national issues, students strengthen their sense of belonging and loyalty. We are committed to elevating the cultural, economic, and social consciousness of our students, empowering them to tackle challenges effectively and build a prosperous future in harmony with Egypt’s Vision 2030 for Sustainable Development.
