BU organized in cooperation with the public defense authority a visit of BU students to Cairo Book fair under the auspices of prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president and the supervision of prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, the vice president of educational and students affairs and the youth care department.

During the visit, the students go to the pavilions of the ministries of defense, interior and the administrative control authority and they express their appreciation and love to the pavilions’ contents and the officials, in each pavilion, explains in details and the students go on a free tour to explore the pavilion as much as they want.

BU incubator for biological technology announces that there will be a new training course funded by scientific research section in the University in order to support the promising ideas that can establish start-ups in the field of biological technology. This comes in accordance with its deep belief that there should be a good atmosphere that can boost the innovative people to succeed and create. It’s noteworthy that this is done under the auspices of prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president and prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizawy, the vice president of scientific research and post-graduate studies. The supreme council of the universities announces the final list of the candidates of the University presidency position after the meeting of finalizing the complaints on Monday, 6-2-2023. The final list includes 9 candidates for the position and they will be interviewed in 2^nd of Mars at 9 A.M in the premise of the supreme council of the universities.  

Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president announce that there is a presidential decree to renew the appointment of prof.Dr. Osama Salah as the dean of the faculty of physical education. BU president congratulates prof.Dr. Osama on his position wishing him success and prosperity.

Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president attends the ceremony of launching the higher education program of professional guidance in cooperation with the international labor organization. This program is funded by the United Kingdom and it has been signed prof.Dr. Ayman Ashour, the minister of higher education and scientific research. This ceremony is conducted in the presence of prof.Dr. Reda Hegazy, the minister of education, prof.Dr. El-Sayed Shehata, the minister of labor and ambassador/ Gareth Baily, the ambassador of UK in Cairo, Mr. Erik Oshislin, the head of the international labor organization, several Universities presidents, businessmen and the representatives of the concerned authorities.

Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president hosts the delegation of Upper Egypt development authority in the Cabinet under the presidency of prof.Dr. Mustafa Khalil, the chancellor of the animal production authority head. BU president meets him on the sidelines of his visit to the faculty of agriculture. This meeting is conducted in the presence of prof.Dr. EL-Sayed Fouda, the vice president of community service and environment development, prof.Dr. Mahmoud El-Zabalaway, the dean of the faculty of agriculture and prof.Dr. Ehab Farid, the vice dean of community service and environment development in the faculty. BU president stresses that this visit comes in accordance of reinforcing the cooperation possibilities between the university and Upper Egypt development authority in the diverse fields in the light of Egypt’s sustainable development/ Egypt’s vision 2030.

Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president pays a sudden tour to inspect the skills and the medical mimesis center, the talented and creative people center and the faculty and leadership development center. He is accompanied by prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, the vice president of education and students’ center, prof.Dr. Rasha Shaker, the vice dean of the faculty of medicine for the education and students’ affairs, prof.Dr. Ashraf EL-Mashhad, the head of the skills and medical mimesis center and prof.Dr. Mona Nasser, the head of the talented and creative people center.

Under the auspices of prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president, prof.Dr. EL-Sayed Fouda, the vice president of community service and environment development inaugurates the charitable clothes exhibition in the faculty of education. This is done in the presence of prof.Dr. Eman Abdel EL-Haq, the former dean of the faculty of education, prof.Dr. Mona Zaza3, the faculty’s vice dean of the community service and environment development, prof.Dr. Gamal Soliman, the faculty’s vice dean of post-graduate studies and Ms. Rania Motaz, the assistant secretary-general of community service and environment development.  

In accordance with launching BU award of governmental excellence as a part of the second round of launching the inner-based awards for the governmental entities in cooperation with the ministry of planning and economic development and the supreme council of the Universities, BU president announces the beginning of the field visits to the qualifying faculties of BU award of governmental excellence starting from Sunday, 26-2-2023 to Thursday, 2-3-2023. It’s noteworthy that the final list of the faculties will be announced on Thursday, 23-2-2023.
