General conditions for admission and registration

  1. Students who have a bachelor's or degree from Benha University or one of the universities recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities are accepted to study at postgraduate programs with at least C +, Students who obtain a bachelor's degree from colleges with corresponding scientific departments are also accepted according to the decision of the Supreme Council of Universities on the same subject.
  2. The student is not permitted to register a course that requires the study of a previous course (Prerequisite) only after studying this course and success.
  3. After the approval of the College Council and upon the proposal of the relevant department council, the student is allowed to count a number of courses that he has already studied at another university or college, provided that he is among the courses required to obtain the degree, And that he has succeeded in the evaluation of (C+) at least, Provided that the total number of hours of these courses does not exceed 30% of the total number of courses required for obtaining a diploma, master's or doctorate, provided that they have not been studied at a level below the level at which the student is registered or have not obtained another degree. And institutes shall define the levels at which they work, and calculated for the student these hours when calculating the cumulative average score (GPA).
  4. A student enrolled in a postgraduate program may convert courses in which he / she has earned a grade of at least C +, which he has already studied at Benha University if these are the requirements of the program.
