The sector of the faculties of education in the supreme council of the universities approves on the amendments of the bylaw of the faculty of education in Benha University and creating Six English language curriculums. Prof.Dr. Ibrahim Fouda, the dean of the faculty of education says that the new programs are concerned with qualifying the teachers of physics, chemistry, science; math in addition to qualifying the primary teachers specialized in science and math.

On Thursday, 16-2-2017, there is a forum in the English language department entitled “the impact of arts on the community culture and the human thought” having the American writer Marisa Silver as the keynote speaker of the forum. The forum is attended by the stduents of the English language department and prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president. It is important to say that Benha University is the third university to which Marisa Silver pays a visit after the Ein-Shams University and Cairo University.
