Benha University signs a cooperation protocol with the directorate of education in Qulubia governorate to create websites for the governorates' schools. This protocol is signed in the presence of prof.Dr. Gamal EL-Saeed, the university president, prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the vice president of post-graduate studies, Mr. Taha Aglan, the deputy of the ministry of education, prof.Dr. Tarek EL-shistaway, the IT advisor, Mrs. Samia Abd EL-Hameed, the secretary-general of the University, prof.Dr. Shady EL-Mashad, the IT Portal head and Mrs. Fawzia Ismail, the coordinator of the project in the directorate.

Prof.Dr. Gamal El-Saeed, the university president decides to isolate those who tested positive of covid-19 pandemic in the building of surgery at benha University hospital. This decision comes in accordance with the precautionary measures taken by the state agencies and the University to fight the outbreak of covid-19 pandemic.

Dr Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President launched initiative for supporting Scientific Researches to Face Corona . El Saeed assured that is among the followed steps by Benha University to limit spread of Corona Virus and to allocate a budget from Scientific Research Fund to support innovative projects which tackle and limit spread of the Corona Virus. On the other hand, Prof.DrNasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-President for Post graduate Studies and Scientific Research mentioned that the initiative aims to develop diagnose through developing new methods for laboratory tests to detect infected persons , develop rapid devices and the use of artificial intelligence applications to monitor and track infected and contact persons as well as treatment techniques through the designing or developing new ventilators in an innovative way and low price. Dr Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President inspected the new buildings of the University at Kafr Saad; Central labs , Central Library and Electronic Exams Center . El Saeed was accompanied by Prof.Dr. Hussein El Maghraby, the University Vice-president for Education and Students ' Affairs , Prof.DrNasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-President for Post graduate Studies and Scientific Research and DrMohamed Saeed , the Engineering adviser of the University.El Saeed assured on finishing all building at the specified time according to the approved specifications. On the other hand ,Dr Mohamed Saeed declared that electronic exams center includes 750 PC and contains 5 floors to serve practical faculties

The First Channel of the Egyptian TV hosted Prof.Dr. Randa Mohamed Ahmed Mustafa, Benha University Vice- President for Community Service Affairs at Good Morning Egypt Program On Saturday, 442020. Randa Mustafa talked about the effective and vital role of the Egyptian universities to limit the spread of corona virus .Randa also mentioned the followed steps by Benha University to face Corona Virus at all fields and especially at encouraging innovation, scientific research and community awareness.

Dr Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President inspected the new buildings of the University at Faculty of Commerce and opened Graduates Unit at the Faculty after finishing it. He also inspected the medical clinic at the Faculty and assured on the availability of medical supplies to face any emergency .The University President thanked all officials for the exerted efforts at renovations and maintenance. He was accompanied by Prof.Dr. Mustafa Rashid El Abady, the Faculty dean, the Faculty deputies' and Mr Mustafa Abu El Dahab , the Faculty Manager.

Prof.Dr. Randa Mohamed Ahmed Mustafa, Benha University Vice- President for Community Service Affairs inspected workshops of making masks at faculty of Specific Education in presence of Dr Mohamed Ibrahim, the Faculty dean and deputies. The Workshops aims to make 2000 masks daily to be given for all visitors and patients at the University Hospital to reduce Corona Virus Spread. Dr Randa Mustafa praised all workers for their exerted efforts to make masks in order to provide citizens and the surrounding community

Leadership Committee at Benha University held its meeting with applicants to who applied for the following positions; General manager of the University office, General Manager of the University Security, Faculty of Agriculture Secretary, Faculty of Education Secretary, Faculty of Engineering Shoubra Secretary and General Manager of Post graduate and Researches. The Committee was held under presidency of Dr Gamal El Saeed , Benha University President and memebership of Prof.Dr Hussein El Maghraby, the University Vice-president for Education and Students ' Affairs , Dr Ashraf Shams El Din , Faculty of Law , Dr Amr Mustafa , External member from Cairo University , Dr Haytham Hamza , External Member and Dr Hany Mahmoud , External member . The Committee listened to their opinions, plans and checked their performance reports according to the specified criteria and with complete impartiality

The Selection Committee of Faculty of Commerce dean was held under presidency of Dr Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President,Dr Shaban Taha, the former Vice President of the University , Dr Hesham Abu El Enin , the former Vice President of the University , Dr Mahmoud Hamid , the Former dean of Engineering Faculty and Dr Tareq Khalifa , The former deputy of Engineering Faculty . The University President confirmed that the university is keen on selecting the faculty dean in accordance with the specified criteria and with complete impartiality after discussing applicants in their development plans, performance, suggestions and ideas.
