The Community Service and Environment Development Sector and Directorate of Health Affairs in Qalyubia continued launching the medical convoys to Shibin El Qanater villages in the framework of Hayah Karima Initiative and by cooperation with Faculty of Medicine and under auspices of Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University and Dr. Gamal Soussa, the general supervisor on Community Service and Environment Affairs.
Dr. Gamal Sousa said that the university organized a medical convoy to the village of Kafr Shibin in cooperation between the Faculty of Medicine and the Directorate of Health Affairs in Qalyubia, within the framework of the societal role that Benha University plays to serve citizens. He also added that that the medical convoy with the door-knocking system is to ensure that free medical services and medicines reach their beneficiaries inside their homes as a precautionary measure in light of the Corona pandemic. For her part, Dr.Nermin Adly , the Faculty deputy for Community Service and Environment Affairs , said that 300 physicians from Faculty of Medicine from various specialties and departments have participated at the medical convoy to serve citizens.

The medical teams at Benha University have continued their work for the second day in succession to vaccinate Benha University students and staff to encounter Corona Virus.
On the other hand, Dr.Nasser El Gizawy, the Acting President of Benha University said that the medical teams have vaccinated 602 of its employees and students at faculty of Applied Arts and Faculty of Computer and Artificial Intelligence. It's worth mentioning that Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs and Dr. Gamal Soussa, the general supervisor on Community Service and Environment Affairs have inspected vaccination process at both faculties.

Dr. Gamal Sousa said that the university organized a medical convoy to the village of El Ahraz within the framework of the societal role that Benha University plays to serve citizens and the villages in need. For her part, Dr.Nermin Adly , the Faculty deputy for Community Service and Environment Affairs , said that physicians from Faculty of Medicine from various specialties and departments have participated at the medical convoy to serve citizens and about 380 sick cases were diagnosed and take medicine for free, and some cases were transferred to the university hospital to make the necessary surgeries and early detection of breast tumors.

Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs inspected the Leadership Development Center at Moshtohor. Dr. Tamer Samir was accompanied by Dr. Mohamed Abu Salim , the General Supervisor of the Center and Dr. Ahmed Naguib, the general Manager of the Center to check out the preparations and procedures used to receive Benha University students participants in the Future Leaders Camp 7, which will be organized by the center this month.
He also added that Benha University is keen to benefit from Its youth energies so that the Future Leaders camp 7 includes organizing a number of seminars and cultural meetings, and supporting outstanding students in all fields.

Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs has launched the second Summer School for Space science at Obour Campus with collaboration of the Egyptian Space Agency. The meeting was held in presence of Dr. Gamal Soussa, the general supervisor on Community Service and Environment Affairs and Dr. Hazem Elewa, the acting manager of El Obour Branch.
Dr. Tamer Samir said that the theoretical part of the summer school started via distance learning on the video conference platform "Zoom" and the practical classes has been started from today at Obour Campus by dividing the applicants into six different training groups, and each trainee will be required to submit a practical project that will be evaluated by professionals in that field. Dr. Tamer Samir also said that 500 students from different faculties and institutes of Engineering all around Egypt have joined that school and he hopes for them best wishes and success.

Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University, inaugurated "Leadership and Influence Program" which is approved by the Supreme Council of Universities and aims to qualify candidates for Faculties' Deanship. El Gizawy said that the program is organized by Faculty and Leadership Development Center (FLDC) and it lasts for three days; totally 18 training hours.
El Gizawy also mentioned that the program discusses the following aspects; Effective communication skills, dealing with others, leadership, Supervision and team management skills, Problem-solving and Decision-making skills, Legal and financial aspects of universities, Time and meeting management, Anti-corruption and Spreading values of integrity and transparency. On the other hand, Dr.Hany Shehta, the manager of Faculty and Leadership Development Center (FLDC) said that all session are delivered by a number of scientific and academic leaders at Benha University and he also said that the number of participants in the course so far has reached about 20 trainees.

Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs and Prof. Gamal Soussa, the Supervisor on Community Service Sector inspected Benha University hostels to be sure from standard of submitted services for students, so he checked out the hostel's restaurants and food stores.
During their tour, they were accompanied by Dr. Sayed Abd El Wanis, the deputy of Benha University hostel and other employees.

The Leadership Selection Committee at Benha University has received applicants for the leaderships' positions in presence of Prof.Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University, Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs, Dr. Huda Sharawy , the former deputy for Benha University and Dr. Ashraf Shams El Din , the professor at faculty of Commerce .
The Committee has held its meeting today to conduct interviews with the employees applying for the supervision positions which are as following; Director General of the President's Office, Director General of the Councils Secretariat, Director General of Medical Affairs, Director General of Postgraduate Studies and Research, General Director of Special Accounts, General manager of administrative affairs, General Director of Legal Affairs and Director General of Public Relations and Media. The Committee listened to the proposals, ideas of job applicants, the way they manage the sectors they have applied for, their vision for development, the speed of completion work, and the ability to make decisions and solve problems. El Gizawy stressed that the selection of applicants for leadership positions is carried out through the committee and in accordance with the necessary criteria to select the most qualified and appropriate among them to occupy leadership positions at the university.
