Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, the BU president and the assigned person to take-care Benha University’s branch in EL-Obour presides over the meeting of the take-care committee pf Benha University’s branch In Obour to make sure that the educational process and the exams are up and running. This is done in the presence of Prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, the vice president of educational and students affairs, Prof.Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the academic manager of Benha University’s branch in EL-Obour, several deans of the governmental faculties that are represented in the committee of the non-governmental university, the faculties and programs’ supervisors, the University’s secretary-general, the assistant secretary-general of the financial affairs, the acting secretary-general of the non-governmental university, the students activities general coordinator and the vice IT advisor of Benha University.

 Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, the BU president announces that the youth care departments in the university’s faculties will initiate, on Thursday, to be handed the nomination forms of students’ Unions elections for the new academic year 2022/2023. He announces that there will be a central committee under the presidency of Prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, the vice president of educational and students’ affairs in order to keep an eye on the elections in its different stages and there will also be subordinate committees in the University’s faculties to supervise the elections and facilitate the hardships that may hinder its procedures. It’s noteworthy that these committees have the vice dean of the students’ and education affairs, several the faculties’ members, the youth care department employees and unnominated students as its members. It is also important to say that the runoff voting will be held in 5^th of December, the elections of the committee-secretaries and their assistants’ elections in the faculties will be held in 6^th of December, the elections of the students’ union and his deputy will be held in 7^th of December and the process of election will be over in 8^th of December.

The sector of post-graduate studies and scientific science announces that Benha University will organize the second annual conference of post-graduate studies in the field of applied sciences (the second round) under the auspices of Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president from 10-5-2023 to 14-5-2023. It will be attended by the various University researchers, the external researchers and the knowledgeable scholars in the field of applied sciences. Major General/ Abdel Hamid EL-Hagan, Qulubia governor, Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, the BU president and Major General/ Khalid Nabil, the head of administrative supervisory authority office congratulate Bishop/ Maksimos of Benha and Qwisna on his promotion to the archbishop position. This is done in the presence of Prof.Dr. Khaled Fouda, the vice president of community service and environment development sector, Ms. Shrien Shawky, the secretary-general of the University, the assistant-secretary-generals and several priests of the church. Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, the BU president issues new decrees that include the appointment of Prof.Dr. Ali Abdel-Aziz Ali, the professor of Mechanical engineering in the faculty of engineering/ Shubra as the faculty’s vice dean of community service and environment development, Prof.Dr. Hani Shafik Ramzy, the professor at the department of Education technology in the faculty of specific education as the faculty’s vice dean of post-graduate studies and scientific research. The decrees include the appointment of Prof.Dr. Tamer Gamal Arafa, the professor at the department of curricula and teaching methodologies in the faculty of physical education as the faculty’s vice dean for post-graduate studies and scientific research and Prof.Dr. Hani Mohamed Zakaria, the professor at the department of the pedagogical, psychological and social studies in the faculty of physical education as the vice dean of community service and environment development.

Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, the BU president with prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, the vice president of educational and students affairs host the team of national authority of quality assurance and accreditation that is led by prof.Dr. Adel Zein, the professor in the faculty of engineering in Aswan, prof.Dr. Mohamed EL-Ghandour, the professor in the faculty of engineering in Port Said. This is done in the presence of prof.Dr. Ayman EL-Shehaby, the faculty's dean, prof.Dr. Saad Mahmoud Saad, the head of quality assurance and accreditation center, the faculty's deputies, the departments' heads, the programs coordinators in accordance with the renewal of the faculty's accreditation. In the meantime, BU president and the faculty's dean makes sure that the educational process is up and running.

 As Cairo ICT 2022 exhibition is now up and running from 27-11-2022 to 30-11-2022, Benha University invites its staff to take part in this exhibition. This one is held in the presence of the presidents of the governmental and the non-governmental Universities, the international Companies and the key authorities. Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, the BU president takes a tour in seven faculties that includes the faculty of engineering/ Benha, the faculty of science, the faculty of medicine, the faculty of arts, the faculty of education, the faculty of nursing, the faculty of physical education and the E-exams center. He was accompanied by the faculties' deans and deputies, and they are prof.Dr. Lofty Abu Salim, the dean of the faculty of science, prof.Dr. Marwa Mustafa, the dean of the faculty of nursing, prof.Dr. Osama Salah, the dean of the faculty of physical education, prof.Dr. Magdy EL-Shahat, the dean of the faculty of education and prof.Dr. Mohamed Abu Arab, the acting dean of the faculty of arts. He also visits the E-exams centers, the central library and the medical skills laboratory with Mr. Refaat Nan, the assistant secretary-general of the administrative affairs.

In the light of the strategic and continuous partnership between the ministry of higher education & scientific research and Microsoft Company to get more benefit of the productive tools of office package 365 that are provided to the faculties' members and the students, the Company offers orientation sessions to explain the provided services designed to help the faculties' members and the students in their academic and professional life. The company holds in cooperation with Benha University a two-hour orientation session from 6 pm to 8 pm on Thursday that corresponds to 17/11/2022.
