Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University announced that the University finished its all preparations to receive 62.000 new and old students at all various faculties on Monday, 28/09/2015 in addition to 2261 foreign students except students of postgraduate studies and open learning which will be started on the next Friday. 

   Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs said that the elections of students union at the University faculties will be held in its date during the fourth week of study according to the current student regulation. 

          Mr. Kim Yong Soo, the Korean Ambassador in Cairo; Eng. Mohamed Abdel Zaher, the Governor of Qalyoubia; Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University; Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development; Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches' Affairs will open on next Tuesday the events of the Korean Cultural Week hosted by Benha University for the second year consecutively. 

Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University participates within a group of Egypt- Arab university presidents in China-Arab University Presidents Forum held in Yinchuan at Ningxia Hui, China in the duration from 10/09/2015 to 14/09/2015. 
It is worth mentioning that the Forum will discuss the opportunities and challenges of Arab and Chinese Universities to open the prospects of research, improvement and development. 

Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University said that a memorandum of understanding has been signed with Bevan University, China during China-Arab University Presidents Forum held in Yinchuan at Ningxia Hui, China in the duration from 10/09/2015 to 14/09/2015. 
It is worth mentioning that the former Ministers of Higher Education and Education have witnessed the signing of the memorandum. 

Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University; Prof. Dr. Yasser Sakr, the President of Helwan University; and Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hatem, the Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities have participated in a workshop organized by the British Council in the duration from Wednesday, 16/09/2015 to Thursday, 17/09/2015 about pivots of the Egyptian British Cooperation in the field of higher education. 

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ghanem, the Professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the Director of E-learning, Benha University has received an invitation from Elsevier to join the editorial board of Veterinary and Animal Science Journal which is a scientific journal specialized in Veterinary science and issued by Elsevier.

During China-Arab University Presidents Forum held in Yinchuan at Ningxia Hui, China in the duration from 10/09/2015 to 14/09/2015; Benha University has signed the document of joining to the Alliance of Ancient Silk Road Universities which includes 100 universities for cooperation and exchange to contribute in developing the peoples throughout openness and cooperation in the fields of higher education. 

     In the presence of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University and the representatives of the strategic planning in the faculties in addition to the University leaders; the workshop No.31 has been held at the University main building to present the position of the strategic plan of each faculty and put a plan for the central team to set the University strategy.
