In the frame of Benha University policy for openness to the world, the University hosts Dr. Wataru Yamazaki, the assistant professor at the University of Miyazaki, Japan to organize a workshop on biotechnology applications in the research excellence labs at the faculties of agriculture and veterinary medicine under the auspices of Prof.Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President and Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs.

      Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University has received Mrs. Kisana Yankovic, the Head of Foreign Relations Office in South Ural State University, Russia to discuss the cooperation ways between the two universities in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches' Affairs.

Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University has participated in the events of the China–Egypt University Presidents Forum hosted by Cairo University and with participation of 20 Presidents of Egyptian Universities and the same of Chinese Universities.                 

       The President of Benha University said that Forum discusses the cooperation ways between the Egyptian and Chinese Universities to open the ways of research, development, improvement, innovation and creativity.
