BU among 1500 Best World Universities according to U. S. News Ranking 2021

Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President announced that the University has joined the list of 1500 best world universities for the second consecutive year according to U. S. News Ranking 2021 among 19 Egypt's public and private universities that have been ranked in this edition. He added that the University has been ranked among more than 30 thousand universities spread around the world, indicating that the University's rank this year has come 1182 globally, 41 in Africa, and 13 in Egypt.
Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches' Affairs said that U. S. News Ranking based on 13 indicators that measure the research performance of the academic and research institutions and their global and regional reputation referring that 1678 universities from 80 countries have been ranked this year out of 30 thousand universities spread around the world.
In the same context, El Gizawy said that the University has been ranked 299 globally in the International Collaboration Index of Scientific Publishing between University teaching staff and the world universities, in addition of the rank 1064 in the International Reputation Index of Scientific Research, and 1034 in the Index of Books Published in the International Publishing Houses.
It is worth mentioning that this Ranking does not need to provide data from universities, but depends entirely on the American Clarifit databases to measure scientific research indicators for universities around the world.

BU Students success in Manufacturing a Satellite

In the frame of cooperation protocol between Benha University and the Egyptian Space Agency "ESA", the students of the faculty of engineering at Benha have succeeded in implementing and manufacturing a satellite as part of the graduation projects under the auspices of Dr. Gamal El Saeed, the University President and Dr. Mohamed Elkoosy, the CEO of the ESA.
In this regard, Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches' Affairs said that the educational satellite makes students interact with satellite technology from a practical point of view, as they became participants in implementing and manufacturing the satellite, confirming that the University was keen to provide full support as well as moral and financial encouragement to students during the study time, especially in the duration of Corona pandemic and distance education.
