Development of the internal regulations of the faculty:

- In 1981, Ministerial Decision No. (278) has been issued to establish the faculty.
- On 2/ 2/ 1994, Ministerial Decision No. (64) has been issued to amend some provisions of the internal Rules of Procedure of the faculty.
- On 8/10/1997, Ministerial Resolution No. (1159) has been issued to amend the internal Rules of Procedure of the Faculty of Arts.
Faculty of Arts has provided throughout its academic and research journey an integrated scientific system through its scientific and research output.
The faculty has also witnessed a massive development in the field of higher studies and scientific research, as there are many departments that offer master and doctoral degrees.
Development of the faculty was not confined to the scientific and academic aspects, but it transcended beyond that to setting up other centers such as the Center of Humanities and Community Service and the Psychological Counseling Unit.
Besides, the faculty holds several seminars and conferences in addition to a variety of activities in the field of youth care and the environment service.
