Conditions of granting the degree of Doctor of Arts:

A PhD degree in Arts requires:

The student must pass the exam at a cumulative average of not less than (C +), If the student does not have the required average grade of success, he or she may repeat the examination once, at least three months after the first examination, and must not be delayed in the qualifying examination for not more than one year from the date of the emergence of the outcome of the last curriculum.
3. The student can register for the hours of the thesis and the student is under the name of "student candidate for doctorate."
4. To continue studying and research for at least three years from the date of registration.
5. To conduct research on an innovative subject approved by the College Council upon the proposal of the relevant department council, The College Council may, on the recommendation of the Council of the relevant scientific department, allow the student to conduct some of his research in another scientific institute in another area that fulfills some of the research requirements, And shall begin to register credit hours for research after the approval of the results of the qualifying examination.
6. After the student's success in the course, he / she must submit a thesis with a minimum grade of B- at least. This is accepted by the Judiciary Committee after being discussed in it. The Judging Committee appreciates the number of credit hours according to the scientific value of the total hours assigned to the thesis.
7. If the student does not receive a doctorate within seven years from the date of registration, Continuing his studies by studying additional courses to increase his scientific abilities and modernizing them instead of the courses that have been studied for seven years since the announcement of the results and provides another certificate to pass the English language (TOEFL level) from one of the university language centers or from other public universities as determined by the Council College and University Council. The student will also submit the ICDL certificate from one of the university accredited centers prior to the formation of the research judging committee.
8. After the success of the student in the courses with a general grade (B-) at least, submit a research accepted by the judging committee after the discussion of the student in the research and the ruling committee assesses the number of credit hours commensurate with the scientific value of the total hours devoted to the thesis.
