Benha University Opens Applications for the Position of Secretary of the Faculty of Arts

Benha University announces the opening of applications for the position of Secretary of the Faculty of Arts, classified under leadership positions. Applications will be accepted until Monday, April 6, 2026.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • The applicant must have served at least one year in the immediate lower job level (Level A1) within the state administrative apparatus, or have a total professional experience of at least 17 years relevant to the nature of the position outside the state administrative apparatus.

General Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the annual plan for the administration under their supervision, establish operational programs and requirements, and follow up on implementation to ensure compliance with regulations, bylaws, and directives, while proposing improvements to enhance administrative performance.
  • Propose human resources requirements based on workload analysis, and identify necessary training to improve efficiency.

Specialized Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the documentation of all faculty data, records, and official documents, whether in paper or electronic format.
  • Develop the overall framework for faculty operational plans, issue necessary decisions to achieve organizational objectives, and submit them to the Dean of the Faculty.

Three Female Students at the Faculty of Arts Win “Arts Against Violence” Competition at Benha University

Within the framework of a university-level competition at Benha University, Prof. Amgad Hegazi, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, extended his congratulations to three students from the Faculty for winning prizes in the artistic competition titled “Arts Against Violence.” The competition was organized by the University as part of the activities of the “16 Days of Activism Against Violence Against Women” campaign, in line with the University’s commitment to promoting social awareness and combating all forms of violence.

Student Sama Mohamed Saeed Al-Hafi won first place (People of Determination category) for her work titled “Short Awareness Film.” Meanwhile, second place was jointly awarded to Rawan Abdullah Abdel Aziz for her artwork in the field of painting, and Salma Tamer Hosnein for her artwork in the field of painting.

This achievement represents a distinguished accomplishment that reflects the awareness of the Faculty of Arts students regarding key social issues and highlights their ability to express these concerns through creative and meaningful artistic expression that promotes the values of respect and equality while rejecting all forms of violence against women.

The Faculty extends its best wishes for their continued success and excellence, and for further achievements that bring pride to the Faculty of Arts and its students.

Faculty of Arts at Benha University Announces the Annual Community Iftar in the Faculty courtyard

Under the auspices of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University; Prof. Jehan Abdel Hady, Vice President of the University; Prof. Amgad Hegazi, Dean of the Faculty of Arts; and Prof. Mohamed Mesbah, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; and under the supervision of Ms. Shaimaa Mohamed Hazem, Director of the Youth Welfare Department, and Mr. Ahmed Hosni, Supervisor of the Social Committee;

The Student Union of the Faculty of Arts will organize the Annual Community Iftar in the Faculty courtyard on Saturday, March 7, 2026, corresponding to the 17th day of the holy month of Ramadan, in a warm Ramadan atmosphere characterized by fellowship, cooperation, and belonging.

The day’s activities are scheduled to begin at 3:00 PM, featuring a diverse program of sports, cultural, and recreational activities, including football matches, chess competitions, and recreational games. The program will also include religious and cultural contests as well as general knowledge quizzes, offering students the opportunity to participate actively and enjoy their time before Iftar.

The Community Iftar will be held in the Faculty courtyard immediately after the Maghrib azan, attended by the Dean, Vice Deans, faculty members, administrative staff, students, and alumni, reflecting the spirit of unity and the family-like atmosphere that distinguishes the Faculty community.

The event aims to strengthen bonds of communication and goodwill among students, faculty members, and staff, promote the values of cooperation and belonging, and create a welcoming environment that brings together all members of the Faculty in a distinctive Ramadan setting.

The Iftar meal will include a quarter grilled chicken, a portion of kofta, rice, tahini, salad, bread, a bottle of water, juice, and a soft drink, in addition to Ramadan sweets and assorted juices. The event will also feature participation in the “Iftar for a Fasting Person” initiative, supporting the values of community solidarity.

Following Iftar, the evening program will continue with religious chanting, a social gathering segment, and student talent performances in poetry, singing, recitation, and artistic sketches. The evening will conclude with a group photograph commemorating the occasion.

The participation fee is 250 EGP per person.

In line with the Faculty’s commitment to student interest, and in accordance with the national and Benha University initiatives toward digital transformation, the E-Learning Administration has launched an online form via Microsoft Forms. Students can use this form to submit any technical issues or inquiries, and the E-Learning Officer will respond and resolve them as quickly as possible. Most current issues are related to lost or forgotten passwords.

Important Note: The form will be available for two weeks only: February 25 – March 11.

  1. First-time login: Use your National ID number as both your username and password.

  3. Navigate: Faculty → Section → Year → Courses, then select the desired book, choose Fawry payment, and obtain the code.
  4. The code is valid for 3 days maximum. You cannot generate another code for the same course, and the book will be automatically available after payment.
  5. If you forget your password, use the “Forgot Password” feature or contact the university E-Book platform administrator at the Faculty, Dr. Ali Shaker.
