The department seeks to prepare and graduate students who are proficient in the Japanese language and possess a strong knowledge of Japanese society. The mission focuses on developing their reading and research capabilities, empowering them to contribute effectively to the workforce in relevant sectors—specifically those linking Egypt and Japan, such as tourism, media, joint economic projects, and the Japanese education project in Egypt.
