Can the humanities be the true driving force behind the smart university?

In an era of rapid digital transformation, innovation is no longer the sole responsibility of applied sciences. The humanities have become an essential partner in building a smart university environment that elevates human values, fosters intellectual growth, inspires creativity, and shapes a more sustainable future.

Guided by this vision, the second theme of the 5th Annual Postgraduate Conference for Humanities is presented under the title:

"Humanities: Development and Innovation in the Smart University"

This track highlights the pivotal role of humanities in reshaping higher education and building universities capable of keeping pace with the digital age—by fostering a culture of innovation, developing human capital, and reinforcing the values of creativity and social responsibility.

A smart university is not merely an advanced technological infrastructure; it is an integrated ecosystem grounded in the belief that humans are the core of development, and that the humanities are the guiding force that gives technology meaning and directs it toward serving society.

We invite researchers, academics, and postgraduate students to contribute their research and ideas to a rich scholarly dialogue bridging human knowledge with innovation, exploring the future landscape of the smart university.
