Under auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, Benha University organized a workshop held to enhance the awareness and develop the society affairs in cooperation with the Egyptian Forum of consistent development. The attendants were: Dr. Emad Adly, the head of the Egyptian Forum of consistent development, Prof. Dr. Magdy Allam, the chancellor of the environment affairs, Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the Vice president of community affairs and environment service, Prof. Dr. Gamal Sosa, the supervisor of the University’s hostels, Prof .Dr. Ezat el Khait, the head of the staff club and a representative of the national assembly for environment protection, Dr. Gamil Helmy, a representative of Ministry of planning, Dr. Sanaa Mustafa, from “ el Sanaa “ assembly of community development, people’s assembly representatives ,  the deputies of the following ministries : education, healthcare , workforce and Student union members.

Benha University participated in the third conference of higher education at Barcelona University, Spain. This conference was organized by the Arab and European Universities unions, Barcelona University and Midredranian union from 25-5-2016 to 27-5-2016. Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the vice president of education and student affairs represented the university at this conference.

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University; the University receives a delegation from Japan International Cooperation Agency “JICA” on Monday, 20/06/2016 to discuss the technical cooperation ways in all fields between the two sides. It is worth mentioning that JICA aims to transfer the technology and knowledge around the world.
