Department Activities and Student Services:

The History Department is actively working on developing its electronic services through a comprehensive set of measures. The most prominent of these is the adoption of the Councils system for conducting Department Council meetings. The Department has also implemented full electronic archiving for all administrative transactions. 

In addition, the Department is committed to meeting students’ needs by expanding student activities. This includes organizing scientific, cultural, and recreational field trips to Egypt’s major tourist and archaeological sites. On the academic level, the Department provides students with a high-quality university textbook. Furthermore, it organizes two specialized annual competitions for its students.
