Duties of Faculty Members, Students, and Employees in Emergency Situations

  • Remain calm and avoid panic.

  • Stop work immediately.

  • Disconnect the electrical power supply to the area.

  • Proceed to the assembly points through evacuation routes and emergency exits.

  • Instruct students not to run or overtake their colleagues to avoid injuries.

  • Do not take risks or endanger your life, and do not return to the building for any reason unless authorized to do so by the responsible authorities.

Duties of Heads of Academic and Administrative Departments at the College

  • Ensure that doors and windows are closed, except for designated evacuation exits.

  • Ensure that the electrical power supply is disconnected.

  • Supervise evacuation operations.

  • Ensure communication with the relevant authorities (Civil Defense, Ambulance, and Police).

  • Ensure the arrival of specialized Civil Defense and Firefighting teams.

  • Proceed to the assembly point to ensure that all personnel are present and that no one remains inside the building.

Duties of College Security Personnel

  • Secure the building and maintain order.

  • Prevent unauthorized individuals from entering the building.

  • Prevent anyone from leaving through the main gate of the college buildings until evacuation and crisis-control operations have been completed and the emergency situation has ended.

  • Await the arrival of specialized Civil Defense teams and direct them to the location of the fire.
