In line with the Faculty’s commitment to supporting students in matters related to mental health and university adjustment, and based on the belief that academic success is inseparable from psychological well-being, the Faculty’s Psychological Support Unit was established as a structured professional entity dedicated to promoting the psychological, academic, and social adjustment of both students and staff.
The Unit works to provide psychological support services based on scientific and professional principles, contributing to the creation of a supportive university environment that encourages learning, personal growth, and positive development. This is achieved in alignment with the University’s vision and mission, and in accordance with ethical standards and best practices in the field of university psychological support.
This guide aims to familiarize students, faculty members, and administrative staff with the nature of the services provided by the Psychological Support Unit, the mechanisms for benefiting from these services, and the Unit’s role in promoting mental health, preventing psychological disorders, and enhancing the overall quality of university life.
As we place this guide in your hands, we hope it will serve as a valuable reference for fostering a culture of psychological awareness within the university community, thereby contributing to the development of a more balanced, supportive, and sustainable educational environment.
